TPS is looking for an experienced and motivated Gas & Diesel Engine Mechanic /Tester to join our technical team in the Netherlands. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, testing, maintaining, and repairing gas and diesel engines to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety.

In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, testing, maintaining, and repairing gas and diesel engines to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety.
What you are going to do.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot gas and diesel engine systems.
- Conduct engine testing, inspections, and performance evaluations.
- Repair, service, and replace defective engine components.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
- Operate diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and specialized instruments.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and specifications.
- Prepare accurate service, maintenance, and inspection reports.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and supervisors to resolve technical issues efficiently.
What we expect from you.
- Technical diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, Diesel Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience working with gas and diesel engines.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
- Familiarity with engine diagnostic software and testing equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driving license.
- Good proficiency in English.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
