What you can expect from TPS.
Weekly net salary: €665 - €900, depending on experience and overtime.
Accommodation: Free housing arranged and paid for by TPS. Each employee has a private bedroom in shared accommodation with Wi-Fi, with access to shared kitchen and bathroom facilities.
Transport: A company car (including fuel) is provided free of charge for all work-related travel. Employees using their personal car receive €0.23 per kilometer for work-related journeys.
Contract: Long-term cooperation is the goal, not short-term or temporary assignments.
Work schedule: Option to work on a rotation basis (e.g. 10 - 12 weeks working followed by 1 - 2 weeks at home).

What you are going to do.
As a Military Truck Mechanic, you’ll work in a modern, well-equipped workshop where you’ll perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on military trucks and trailers. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are mission-ready, reliable, and safe for deployment. With access to advanced tools and diagnostic systems, you’ll be able to carry out your work efficiently and precisely.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel engines and related truck components.
- Replacing parts such as wheel bearings, transmissions, filters, brake linings, windshield wipers, and fluids.
- Inspecting systems for leaks, damage, and wear, including brakes, steering, suspension, and transmission systems.
- Checking tire condition and pressure, and carrying out necessary replacements or adjustments.
- Inspecting and testing electrical systems, lighting, and battery condition.
- Performing minor mechanical repairs, such as replacing brake fluids or spark plugs.
- Conducting diagnostic tests to identify technical issues accurately and efficiently.
- Documenting all work performed, preparing inspection and service reports, and coordinating with team leaders for final approval and billing.
- Performing complex maintenance and repair work on military vehicles.
- You’ll work independently while collaborating closely with other skilled mechanics and supervisors who share your commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork.
What we expect from you.
- At least 3 years experience with military trucks in maintenance, repair, or overhaul.
- An automotive education background.
- Strong mechanical and technical understanding with the ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Good English communication skills (spoken and written).
- A valid Category B driving license. (category C is a strong advantage)
- Willingness to work in shifts or occasional weekend overtime.
- You have the legal right to work in the Netherlands (valid work and residence permit required).
