What you can expect from TPS.
Weekly net salary: €685 - €900, depending on experience and overtime.
Accommodation: Free housing arranged and paid for by TPS. Each employee has a private bedroom in shared accommodation with Wi-Fi, with access to shared kitchen and bathroom facilities.
Transport: A company car (including fuel) is provided free of charge for all work-related travel. Employees using their personal car receive €0.23 per kilometer for work-related journeys.
Contract: Long-term cooperation is the goal, not short-term or temporary assignments.
Work schedule: Option to work on a rotation basis (e.g. 10 - 12 weeks working followed by 1 - 2 weeks at home).
Health insurance: Fully organized and covered through a Dutch healthcare provider.
What you are going to do.
As a Bus Damage Repair Technician, you'll work in a professional body repair workshop, repairing and restoring buses that have sustained accident, collision, or wear-related damage. Using modern equipment and repair techniques, you'll help ensure vehicles are returned to their original condition, meeting high standards of safety and quality.
You will be responsible for:
- Performing body damage assessments on buses and identifying required repairs.
- Repairing or replacing damaged body panels, bumpers, doors, roofs, and other structural components.
- Straightening and aligning vehicle frames and body structures using specialist equipment.
- Carrying out welding, cutting, grinding, and metal fabrication work as required.
- Preparing surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, and masking.
- Inspecting repaired areas to ensure structural integrity, safety, and quality standards are met.
- Repairing or replacing windows, mirrors, lights, and exterior fittings damaged during accidents.
- Working with diagnostic and measuring tools to verify correct alignment and dimensions.
- Documenting repair work and coordinating with supervisors, estimators, and other technicians.
- Working independently and as part of a team, maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
What we expect from you.
- At least 3 years of experience in vehicle body repair, collision repair, or damage restoration, preferably on buses, trucks, or other commercial vehicles.
- A completed automotive, body repair, or vehicle damage repair education.
- Strong technical and practical knowledge of bodywork repairs, including welding, panel replacement, straightening, and alignment techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, repair manuals, and repair specifications.
- Good English communication skills (spoken and written).
- A valid Category B driving license. (Category D and/or C is a strong advantage.)
- Experience working with modern body repair equipment, measuring systems, and repair tools.
- Willingness to work in shifts or occasional weekend overtime when required.
- Strong attention to quality, safety, and finishing standards.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a busy workshop environment.
- You have the legal right to work in the Netherlands (valid work and residence permit required).
